Chef Enzo Terms of Use
These Terms cover Chef Enzo, an iPhone cooking game published by Alexandru Struta, an individual developer based in Romania (the “developer”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or playing the game you agree to them. If you do not agree, please don't use the game. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
1. Your licence to play
Chef Enzo is free to download. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the game on Apple devices you own or control, for your own entertainment, as allowed by the App Store rules. The game, its code, characters, artwork and sounds belong to the developer or to their licensors; you get a licence, not ownership.
Please don't cheat by exploiting bugs or changing the game or its save files, get around purchase checks, copy, resell or redistribute the game, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows. These limits apply only as far as the law permits.
2. Apple's Standard EULA
Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) applies to your licence of Chef Enzo from the App Store and governs where it applies. These Terms add to it and do not replace it. Where the two differ, the Standard EULA wins for matters it covers. Apple is not responsible for supporting the game; we are.
3. Progress, coins and items
Your progress is saved only on your iPhone. There is no account and no cloud save, so deleting the app, losing your device or damaged data can lose your progress, and we cannot restore it. Restoring purchases brings back Premium, not your game progress.
Coins, upgrades, power-ups, outfits, pans and decorations are virtual items for use in the game. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, sold or moved to another player. Coins are not sold for money; you earn them by playing (Premium's daily gift also includes coins).
4. Chef Enzo Premium subscriptions
Chef Enzo Premium is optional. Everything else in the game can be played without it. You can choose:
- Chef Enzo Premium Weekly: an auto-renewable subscription with a 1-week period;
- Chef Enzo Premium Monthly: an auto-renewable subscription with a 1-month period.
The price is shown on the Premium screen in your local currency before you buy, and that price applies. There is currently no free trial or introductory offer, and Premium is not shared through Family Sharing.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in the iOS Settings app › Apple Account (your name at the top) › Subscriptions. See Apple's help page. Deleting the game does not cancel a subscription.
- After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Payments and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. We cannot issue refunds; you can ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds or revokes a subscription, Premium ends.
- To get Premium back on a new or reset iPhone, sign in with the same Apple Account and tap RESTORE PURCHASES (title screen › MENU › SETTINGS, or inside the Premium screen). Checking the store needs an internet connection.
What Premium includes
- Daily gift: 100 coins and a random power-up once a day (days reset at 00:00 UTC). Collect it from MENU › DAILY GIFTS › Power-ups › Premium daily gift.
- New Chef's Specials levels every week: three special levels that change each week. Each new week's set replaces the last one, so earlier specials are no longer playable. Your best stars are saved.
- Exclusive monthly outfits: a Premium outfit to claim each month. An outfit you have claimed stays in your wardrobe.
- Free bonuses without videos: double coins on the results screen, a random power-up and a second daily gift, without watching a video.
We plan and publish Premium content ahead of time, but the content and its schedule may change. If something you paid for cannot be delivered, your rights under consumer law are not affected.
5. Advertising
Version 1.0 contains no advertisements. If a future update adds optional ads, these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated first.
6. Music credits
“Bossa Antigua” (menu) and “Samba Isobel” (gameplay) by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com), licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Changes: volume reduced by 6 dB and short fades added at the start and end; the original melody and tempo are unchanged. The credits are also in the game under MENU › SETTINGS › MUSIC CREDITS.
7. Updates and availability
We may update the game to fix problems, improve it or change features. We try to keep it working well but cannot promise it will always be free of errors or available on every device or iOS version. Changes that affect a subscription you paid for remain subject to consumer law.
8. Liability
As far as the law allows, the game is provided “as is”. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of Romania. If you are a consumer living in the European Union or another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.
10. Changes and contact
We will post changes here with a new date and give extra notice where the law requires it. Questions or support: alexandrustruta@gmail.com, or see the Support page.
